Kanooka Child Care Centre is a community-based, not-for profit centre.
Kanooka child care provides high quality early learning programs for children six months to Kindergarten.
Exceeding National Quality Standards for early childhood education and care our programs are built on children's interests and aim to create a learning environment that is safe, engaging, inclusive and inspiring for all.
Located on Bunurong Land, Kanooka has been building connections with the traditional Custodians of this land and supporting children to develop a genuine interest and appreciation for the rich cultural heritage they share in.
We are a multicultural centre and are proud to be reflective of the unique and vibrant community of Clayton. Staff and families come from a variety of backgrounds and are multilingual.
We have a strong connection with the Monash Health Network and many of our families work at the hospital. Co-located with Monash Children's Hospital we have access to their facilities and expertise in child health and well-being.
Acknowledgement of Country
We would like to acknowledge the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which Kanooka Child Care Centre stands.
We would also like to pay respect to the Bunurong Elders, past, present and future. We also extend this respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Elders from other communities.
